IBS 30 - Follow before you lead

IBS 30 (Servant)
Matthew 20:26-28
"yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. "and whoever desires to be first among you let him be your slave-"just as the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
Service is for everyone in Christ; everyone should have the opportunity to serve one another. It's not enough for us to always serve, meaning us alone, it will come to the point of us being totally exhausted. In which will cause us to lose faith and the corrected in ministry. We'll begin to serve for all the wrong reasons. We must allow "us" ourselves to be served, to remind ourselves why we serve. Remembering that its was "us" in Christ that were served first; washed clean in the blood of Christ. The greatness in serving is meant for everyone, if one of our brothers wishes to be great among us all, then let us let him be our servant. So if a brother desires to be first among us, then let us give to him all of our burdens. Let him be a slave to the works of our own troubles, to give his life to the service of our lives.
("just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many" Matthew 20:28)
For my application today I will practice on allowing others to serve me, with my stressful moments, and the times I don't want to open up.
